Biography

Alexandru Santau is the Vice President and General Manager for Critical Power Systems (CPS) in Europe, Middle East and Africa, leading the strategic direction and performance of the business across the region. He oversees a broad organisation delivering integrated power solutions across key segments including Data Centres, Commercial & Industrial and Marine markets, supporting customers in increasingly complex and fast-evolving environments.

Alex brings extensive leadership experience across multiple operating environments, with a strong track record of building high-performing teams, driving operational excellence and delivering sustainable business performance. Over the course of his career, he has led organisations through significant transformation, including scaling manufacturing operations, executing business turnarounds and establishing centres of excellence to support long-term growth.

Alex joined Eaton in 2011 and has held a number of senior leadership roles across the Electrical sector, with experience spanning operations, strategy and business leadership in international environments. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Politehnica University of Timisoara, Romania and is based in the United Kingdom.
