Biography

Chudi Okoye, Deputy Regional Editor- Africa, supports  research, editorial, and advisory output in all countries OBG covers in Africa from his base in Lagos, Nigeria. Having joined OBG in 2022, he has worked with the company as an Editorial Manager conducting research, both on the ground and remotely, in countries such as Nigeria and Djibouti and securing interviews with high-profile regional and international figures. His transition to OBG’s advisory arm has seen him interface closely with the continent’s leading multinationals and bring his diverse background in maritime, law, and finance to bear on key projects. He holds degrees in English Literature and French from Pepperdine University in California, Commercial Law from Thomas Jefferson University in California, and International Finance and Banking from University College London in the UK. Bilingual in English and French, his professional experience spans the Oil & Gas, Corporate Law, and Financial Compliance sectors.
