Biography

Emilie Wilson has spent over 15 years working in market intelligence and strategic advisory across the African continent. As the head of Rising Advisory, she works closely with investors and organizations to help them navigate the complexities of emerging markets through data-driven insights.

Emilie recently coordinated the research and production of the “Data Centres in Africa 2026” report on behalf of the Africa Data Centres Association (ADCA). This collaborative project provides a baseline for understanding the continent’s digital infrastructure and its growth potential.

Her background includes a decade of on-the-ground experience with Oxford Business Group, where she supported the development of economic reports in countries such as Egypt, Nigeria, Djibouti, and Côte d’Ivoire. Emilie holds an International Certificate in Corporate Finance from HEC Paris and was part of the 2021-22 Young Leaders cohort of the French-African Foundation.
