Biography

• Mahmoud is a Senior Associate at the newly launched Africa50 Infrastructure Acceleration Fund.
• He joined from Emerging Capital Partners (ECP), where he spent 5 years based both in Paris and Abidjan.
• He has 8+ years of global experience and 5+ years of experience in Africa.
• Mahmoud has experience across multiple sectors including Digital Infrastructure, Logistics, Utilities, and Downstream Oil & Gas.
• Prior to ECP, Mahmoud was a consultant for YKems where he focused on management economics, strategy and game theory.
• Mahmoud is Moroccan and French. He holds a Master in Science and Executive Engineering from Mines ParisTech and a Research Master in Materials Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology .
