Nancy Maina is an Automation AI Engineer, and a passionate STEM advocate dedicated to empowering young people through technology, innovation, and sustainable development. She is the Founder and Executive Director of Women in Sustainable STEM Africa (WiSSA), where she has empowered over 3,000 young girls and youth with digital, engineering, and leadership skills across underserved communities. With professional experience in artificial intelligence, automation, and digital transformation, Nancy designs intelligent systems that streamline processes, improve efficiency, and solve real-world challenges. Her work bridges engineering, AI, and social impact, making complex technologies practical, ethical, and accessible for communities, institutions, and industry partners.
Nancy has represented youth innovation on national and international platforms, contributing to conversations on digital inclusion, sustainable infrastructure, and future workforce development.
