Biography

Nicola Cencelli is a seasoned energy professional known for her commercial and technical expertise in the renewable energy sector. With over 15 years of experience across project development, EPC management, and technical consultancy, Nicola brings a strategic perspective grounded in deep industry knowledge.

She has held key roles at organisations including Eskom, Emesco Holdings, RINA Consulting, Genesis Eco-Energy Developments, and 3E, working across the entire renewable energy value chain. This breadth of experience enables her to foster collaborative, solutions-focused engagement with clients, partners, and stakeholders.

Nicola currently serves as a Senior Business Development Manager at JUWI Renewable Energies South Africa, where she focuses on solar PV and hybrid energy solutions for industrial and mining customers. She also serves on the Governing Committee of the South African Photovoltaic Industry Association (SAPVIA).

In addition to her professional achievements, Nicola is a sought-after speaker with extensive experience presenting at leading industry conferences and events across South Africa and beyond, where she shares insights on solar integration, energy transition strategies, and hybrid solutions for large energy users.

She holds both undergraduate and master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Stellenbosch.
