Biography

Mr Sipho Mtombeni is the Government Affairs and Public Policy Manager at Google South Africa. He was previously in a regulatory role and joined Google from the Competition Commission of South Africa where he held various positions over a period of 14 years.

Mr Mtombeni holds a LLB (Law) Degree from the University of Pretoria as well as a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS).

Mr Mtombeni has varied experience as a policy practitioner including investigative work, research, policy analysis and advocacy.
