Biography

Siya Madyibi is the Executive Director for Microsoft’s Corporate, External, and Legal Affairs (CELA) in South Africa. With over 20 years of experience in telecommunications regulation and ICT sector business development, Siya leads strategic legal and policy engagements that enable Microsoft’s commercial success in the region. His work focuses on supporting Microsoft’s sales and operations while helping public and private sector customers navigate complex regulatory and policy challenges arising from the shift to hyperscale cloud computing, digital transformation, and the accelerating adoption of artificial intelligence (AI). Siya plays a key role in shaping responsible AI governance and ensuring alignment with evolving legal frameworks in South Africa and beyond.
