Biography

Willem Weber is a seasoned technical leader with over 30 years of experience in data centre design, renewable energy, and HVAC systems. As a Data Center Environmental Engineer at Master Power Technologies, he focuses on energy-efficient infrastructure and sustainable environmental systems. Previously, he served as CTO at African Gateway International and Senior Manager of Technical Infrastructure at MTN, where he oversaw the design and development of 14 data centres and led the implementation of Africa’s first Tri-Generation Plant. Willem is a Certified Data Centre Professional known for pioneering work in alternative energy and battery technologies.
