Held on the first night of the event, the Pan African DataCentres Gala Dinner is your opportunity to relax, have a drink, enjoy a 3 course meal and network with colleagues and friends.
Unlike many dinners, this is not a formal black-tie affair, but an event which brings the industry together, to laugh and to have a shared experience which breaks barriers and encourages interaction.
Featuring an after-dinner speaker, who is neither a Motivational Speaker nor an Industry professional detailing their view of the world… The Pan African DataCentres Dinner will feature a well-known, Sporting Personality with the history, wit, and anecdotes to deliver a lively and humorous account from their past.
You will meet peers in a social environment whilst benefitting from the networking opportunities.
After Dinner Speaker – Steven Kitshoff
Steven Kitshoff, a dominant force in South African rugby, has been a key player since his teenage debut for the Stormers in 2011. In 2015, he gained valuable international experience with French club Bordeaux before joining the Springboks in 2016. Kitshoff played a crucial role in South Africa’s 2019 Rugby World Cup victory, contributing significantly as part of the impactful “Bomb Squad” that powered the team to glory. By 2021, he became Western Province’s captain, showcasing his leadership on and off the field. In the 2023 Rugby World Cup in France, Kitshoff’s scrummaging strength and experience were instrumental in South Africa’s triumphant campaign, securing back-to-back titles. Resilient and consistent, Kitshoff remains a cornerstone of Springbok rugby.
