Guy Zibi is Managing Partner with Xalam Analytics, a boutique research and advisory firm focused on connectivity, cloud and digital infrastructure in emerging markets.

Xalam provides the data and insights that support infrastructure, commercial and capital deployment in digital infrastructure across Africa, the Middle East, emerging Asia and Latin America. The firm’s investment reports on the economics and transformation of Internet infrastructure in frontier markets, the impact of hyperscale data center infrastructure, private and public clouds and fibre connectivity have helped redefine investor perception of the frontier digital infrastructure opportunity.

Guy has more than a decade-long experience in researching and analyzing technology markets around the world and is recognized as a foremost expert in the economics of ICTs in emerging markets. He was previously Founder of AfricaNext Investment Research, an Africa-focused tech equity research firm, an analyst with the Economist Intelligence Unit/Pyramid, and a Global Consulting Director with Pyramid Research.
