Biography

Justin Wimbush is a director of Kambuku Consulting, a boutique consultancy which provides independent, specialist technical advisory services to parties involved in the development, procurement and installation of infrastructure, particularly renewable projects procured using EPC contracts and project finance approaches.

Justin is a renewable and sustainable energy expert with extensive experience of project development from concept through to construction in South Africa, Southern Africa, the UK, USA and East Asia. He specialises in commercial and utility scale renewable energy procurement and has played an active role in the development of over 2GW of PV, wind, biomass, hydro, landfill gas and battery storage projects as a project manager, Owner’s Engineer or Lender’s Technical Advisor.

Justin has a Masters’ degree in Mechanical Engineering, a second Master’s degree in Engineering Management and over 20 years of experience working with multi-disciplinary teams in the renewable and sustainable engineering fields.   He is both a South Africa and UK Professionally Registered Chartered Mechanical Engineer.
