Biography

Samuel is a data centre professional with over 14 years of experience in data centre and Submarine Cable Landing Stations build, expansion and operations. He has worked for numerous global data centres including Equinix (MainOne) Kasi Data Centres, Imose Technology and currently with Digital Realty as their Data Centre Manager in charge of project implementation, MEP installations, data centre commissioning, acceptance and project delivery. He supports all aspects of data centre operations including the operation, maintenance and repair of all mission critical equipment and systems supporting a 24×7 operation to achieve uptime and compliance with all customer SLAs.

A highly motivated and experienced leader with a focus on African digital infrastructure evolution,  bridging Africa to other continents. He is passionate about data centre grassroot development, building and operating sustainable data centres, capacity building and digital innovations. He has a good understanding of data centre competition in Africa.

He has a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Electronic Engineering, a Master’s degree in Facility Management, Post Graduate diploma in Transformational Leadership and Master in business administration.

He has participated in many trainings both local and international. He likes soccer and reading.
