Sibongile Thobakgale is an Area Sales Manager and Director of Aggreko Energy Rental South Africa. Aggreko is the world-leading provider of temporary, medium, and long-term power solutions and has a long-established history providing power solutions across the African continent.

She joined Aggreko in January 2021 and is responsible for developing and executing regional sales strategy to secure business from new and existing sectors; putting pricing strategy in place to optimize revenue generation, leading, mentoring, and coaching sales team members with a focus on continual improvement and creating a comprehensive annual budget report to drive sales targeting and ensure the business has clear management strategies and plans to increase sales volumes.

Sibongile has over 15 years’ experience in steering strategic vision and sales management to increase revenue, client satisfaction and overall business growth across deadline-driven environments. She has strong business and financial acumen with a talent for stewarding key accounts, developing creative solutions to complex business challenges, and surpassing ambitious targets.

Sibongile holds a National Diploma in Electrical Engineering from the Technikon Witwatersrand in South Africa as well as various professional development certifications.
